Akan (Twi) [akan twi] is a language spoken in Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire. There are multiple variations of Twi in both Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire as shown in the diagram below.
The two main varieties of twi spoken in Ghana are Twi and Fante.
